ULTIMATE LOOT BOXES
Created by Avrye

This mod aims to add a ton of different loot boxes into Minecraft.

MOD HIGHLIGHTS:

Many new animated or 3D-modelled items with custom sound effects.
Tons of randomly-dropped loot boxes containing *hundreds of new items.
Melee weapons, ranged weapons, throwable weapons, traps, special effect items, etc.
Colourful item display names show off their rarity/tier for extra showing off.

*The current release is mostly a concept version and only contains around 60 items,
but there are literally hundreds more already soft-coded into the game and will be
added as soon as I make their textures/models.

WHAT ARE LOOT BOXES?

Loot Boxes are items you can open to obtain a random item of value, including
fully-3D custom-modelled items in loot boxes of the highest tier.

More common loot boxes can hold several different items, while rarer loot boxes tend
to hold a single very valuable item.

WHAT'S IN LOOT BOXES?

Loot boxes can contain a variety of different items.

More common loot boxes can hold several different materials, ore or food, while
rarer loot boxes typically hold a single very valuable weapon or armour piece.

The six most common loot boxes are based solely off Vanilla items (Wooden, Iron,
Gold, Diamond, End and Hungry Boxes), but all others contain a large amount of
brand-new items made just for this mod.

*Most weapons that have secondary abilities consume extra durability when using them,
such as the Firelance's "flamethrower" or the Mambele's ability to be thrown.

WHAT'S SO SPECIAL ABOUT LOOT BOX CONTENT?

Aside from the basic Vanilla lootboxes, most add brand new items.

Some are basic items that are completely average but look neat.
Some have low damage but can be swung much faster than typical weapons.
Some have high damage but are swung more slowly than other weapons.
Some items have multiple functions, such as a melee weapon that can shoot projectiles.
There are also throwable items such as explosives, ore magnets, create black holes, etc.
New armours not only offer protection and a new look but some have extra bonuses on each
piece or when worn as a set can sometimes have an even greater bonus such as immunity to
certain kinds of damage or even flight.
Placeable traps that harm anything that come in contact.

Also, all the custom-modelled, animated or custom-sound items found within!

*Not all types of items listed above are included in the current version but are planned
 to be added very soon.

Planned loot boxes will include... medieval, mythical, modern real-world, ancient real-world,
high-tech, Marvel/DC weapons/suits, lightsabers and various videogames.

CAN I REQUEST OR MAKE MY OWN LOOT BOX?

Yes! If anyone has an idea for a lootbox, feel free to ask and I'll add it into the game.

Or if anyone wants to make a bunch of weapon textures and send them to me I'll turn them into
your very own unique loot box with a "Made by (your name)" tag in the loot box and weapons' tooltips
so everyone who uses the mod will see your stuff!

DOES THE LOOTING ENCHANTMENT AFFECT DROP RATES?

Yes. Both the Looting enchantment and certain other new items can increase loot box drop rates.
More specifically, you get a +5% bonus for each level of Looting enchantment as well as an additional
+5% chance if you have other "lucky" items equipped, up to a total of +50% bonus.

*The only "lucky" item currently implemented is the Home Run Bat. More will be added soon.

CONFIGURATION SETTINGS:

Disable Sound - You have the option to turn off weapon sounds such as the chainsaw and lightsaber.

Explosive Griefing - You can set whether you want all world-altering items to work, some, or none.

Drop Rate Modifier - You can add a multiplier to the loot box drop rate if you feel it's too high or low.
