The Antique atlas is a great map-making tool for navigating and remembering locations.
You can make copies of an antique atlas to sell them or give to friends.
Use a spectral anchor or Resolute Ivy on items to keep them in your inventory after death.
Take progression one step at a time - it's going to be slower than normal!
Press N (default) to view your current difficulty meter.
Press CTRL + N (default) to toggle visibility of your difficulty meter.
Magical Apples can be used to re-roll the Enchantments Available in an Enchanting Table.
Killing blighted monsters grants 12x the normal experience, drops 1-2 heart canisters and also lowers your difficulty!
A cloak of invisibility makes mob farming trivial -- craft one if you struggle with mob fighting at night!
Use a Tome of Alkahestry to transmute items from one form to another.
Blood Moons are great opportunities to farm extra mobs and to gather additional mob drops.
Craft a Bonsai Pot to create additional wood over time, or to have a nice decoration in your house!
Use a chisel for extra varieties of materials to build out of!
Enchanted Hearts or Cursed Hearts can be used to change your difficulty at will.
Spectre tools make for highly enchantable tools that can easily be repaired on the cheap.
Be careful bringing food or potions into the Betweenlands as they will rot and become unusable.
Ores are found in both the End and the Nether, so if you'd prefer spelunking there you can adventure through those dimensions!
The Wither is only able to be fought within the Nether, and cannot be spawned in the overworld.

Using the Melter from Embers can double your ores easily and reliably.
Roguelike dungeons contain heart canisters and cursed/enchanted hearts that you can use to increase your max health and change your difficulty.
Don't break a wizard tower. Don't be a dick to their property. They will kill you.
The well of suffering ritual is disabled in this pack. Use the appropriate Animus ritual instead.
Breaking a block of antimatter will break all adjacent blocks as well. Be careful as this could result in a lot of lag.
Create a kitchen (using Cooking for Blockheads) to craft food more easily and look stylish in your home at the same time!
